Landslide disrupts vehicular movement on highway in northern India
Vehicular movement halted on the highway after a landslide in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir on March 3. The incident took place at Chamalwas, Banihal area of Ramban district
Visuals feature the massive landslide occurring in broad daylight. Following this, debris and boulders from the mountains keep rolling down the cliff, blocking the highway. Meanwhile, panic ensues among those witnessing the incident.
The restoration work began soon after the landslide took place on the Jammu-Srinagar highway. After being closed for a while, the traffic movement resumed from both sides on the national highway.
