The video address of Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky on a live Zoom call was met with thunderous applause in front of the Georgia Parliament building in Tbilisi as thousands gathered to hear the now heroic former comedian speak on Friday (March 4) evening in a global address.

"If we win, it will be a victory for the whole democratic world, it will be a victory of our freedom, a victory of light over darkness, a victory of freedom over slavery," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said at the rally ongoing in support of Ukraine in Tbilisi and several European cities.

"I have three minutes to address you. I want to dedicate this first minute to those who died for the homeland, our soldiers, those who served in the fire crew, those who worked as pilots, who sacrificed their life. Let us commemorate their souls," Zelensky said in a video address, adding that the second minute was dedicated to honoring the memory of civilians killed during the Russian aggression.

"I would like to dedicate the second minute to the memory of our citizens, to civil society. Adults and children, the tens and hundreds of them, who died and sacrificed their lives for the independence of their country. Let's pay tribute to them by observing a minute of silence," Zelensky said.

The President of Ukraine used the third minute for calling on European people to act. He said that if Ukraine wins it will be a victory of democracy, a victory of freedom, a victory of light over darkness.

"I want to dedicate the third minute to you, European people. I want to urge you not to be silent. I want you to take to the streets and support Ukraine, support our efforts and struggle because if we fall, you will fall too. So please do not be silent. Do not turn a blind eye to this. Come out in support of Ukraine. And if we win, I am sure we will win, it will be the victory of the whole democratic world, it will be the victory of our freedom, the victory of light over darkness, the victory of freedom over slavery. And if we win, we will be just as prosperous as Europe, and Europe will prosper even more with this glorious victory. Glory to Ukraine.

Tbilisi, Paris, Lyon, Bratislava, Frankfurt, Vilnius, Prague, you are all Ukrainians today," Zelensky said.
