A wild leopard created a panic in Meerut’s Pallavapuram area and around for 9 hours before finally being tranquilized and rescued . On 4th March ( Friday ) morning when a leopard entered the house in Pallavapuram Phase II colony around 7:50 am in morning , hinding under the cooler in the courtyard of house , tells abha owner of the house . We raised the alarm and all the people gathered outside the house . The police who reached there called the team of the forest department. The forest department laid siege to the entire house and set a trap to catch the leopard The leopard got trapped in the net for ten minutes and then broke the net and came on the road , creating more panic . The leopard after breaking the net hides in the bushes in a plot of Anita Chaudhary
Police and forest department teams than put up nets all around the plot and monitored every moment of the leopard for several hours. After some time the leopard was tranquilized. After that the leopard was rescued and forest department took into their custody . The leopard will be left into the shivalik forest in Saharanpur
