An elephant, along with its calf, climbed up a mountain in Sri Lanka's North Central Province on February 20.

The incident took place at the Hurulu Eco Park, located in Habarana in the Anuradhapura District.

Visuals feature the adult elephant guiding its calf up the mountain. They climb at their own pace while the onlookers behold the experience from afar.

The elephants in the region are known for often coming out in the hilly area known as the temple mountain.
