An iPhone 7 Plus exploded and caught fire at a mobile repair shop in Garoth, Madhya Pradesh.

CCTV footage captured the moment the device exploded, seeing staff and customers quickly flee the area.

Shop owner Abhishek said a customer had complained about the heat of their phone while charging. He also mentioned that the battery had swelled a bit.

"I kept the mobile on side of the table and was working on something else. Suddenly the phone exploded and it caught fire. There was a loud sound after the blast and lots of smoke, I and others suddenly ran out of the shop," the shop owner added.

In an unusual incident , An Apple I Phone exploded like a bomb and caught fire . The entire incident was caught under the cctv camera . The incident happened on 4th March around 2:30 PM at Abhi Mobile repairing centre in Mandsaur district Garoth town area .
According to shop owner Abhishek , a customer named Gagan came to his shop with I Phone 7 Plus complaining of heating his I phone while charging he also tells that it seems the battery has swelled a little bit , Abhishek further tells , that he immediately alerted him to take out the mobile in his pocket and give it to him to check the problem , I also told him that it might catch fire . I kept the mobile on side of the table and was working on something else , Suddenly the I phone exploded and it catches fire . There was a loud sound after the blast and lots of smoke , I and other suddenly ran out of the shop and I dropped th MCV power line fearing of any short circuit , later I got to know that it was a mobile blast .
I phone owner Gagan who was very upset after the incident tells that he is a very old customer of I phone and only use this brand , he purched this I phone some years back only . Gagan tells it was the first time that I brought this mobile to a repairing shop . if it blasted In my pocket any thing could have happened with me .
