Monkey slides down building after stealing slice of bread in Singapore
A clever monkey slid down the side of a building like a scene from Mission Impossible after stealing a slice of bread from its tenants in Singapore.
After having its fill, the hungry primate was seen shimmying down the side of the building in Chestnut Avenue on February 14 and escaping into a forested area nearby.
Onlooker Ivy Chen likened the monkey to Tom Cruise doing a stunt in the Mission Impossible movies.
He said: 'Actually, the monkey stole a slice of bread from a unit and was eating it on the ledge. It stopped to take a break on the ledge of the 12th floor of the block opposite ours.
'I recorded it to alert our neighbours via our resident group chat. We live right next to a nature park so it's common to have monkeys coming to our condo to steal food.'
