Video captured the moment of A terrible hailstorm that hit many houses in Son La, Vietnam.
According to the locals, the sudden hailstorm took them by surprise. High winds and heavy rain appeared and then thousands of stones fell on their area. People quickly moved into shelters.
The hailstorm occurred for about 10 minutes with large-sized stones falling. There are stones the size of chicken eggs that have caused many roofs of tile and cement corrugated iron to be destroyed.
After the hailstorm passed, more than 50 houses had their roofs destroyed. Dozens of hectares of crops were destroyed.
According to locals, this year's hail came early, so they did not prepare in time. Usually hail usually occurs in late April to June.
