I don't need help, Mom! Trio of baby elephants willfully escape deep mud without assistance

This is the adorable moment three baby elephants escape a deep mud wallow in Kruger National Park, South Africa on March 6, but don't turn to mom for help.

"The fun was over and it was time to face the challenge of getting out. No adult elephants came to help so these little ones had to be determined and get out all by themselves. The first baby elephant got out after a few slips and slides. That clearly looked too difficult for the other two baby elephants and they opted to go a different route out of the wallow. The alternative exit route did not look any easier. With great determination, both baby elephants slowly attempted to get out by pulling themselves up using their front legs. This awkward-looking attempt amazingly worked in the end as the two baby elephants managed to pull themselves onto the side of the wallow and back onto their feet. We left the sighting with a smile on our faces while feeling proud of all three youngsters, beating one of many obstacles baby elephants have to face on a daily basis in the African wild," said the filmer.
