A dog owner celebrated a bangle ceremony for her pregnant dog which is usually conducted for pregnant women in Tamilnadu.

A bangle ceremony is hosted by the pregnant woman's family during the third trimester of the pregnancy. Pregnant women will be adorned with bangles in both the hands in odd numbers. It is believed that the bangle sound induces the child's senses and brain activity.

Same such function is conducted to a pregnant dog as the owner cares for the dog as her own family member.

The owner narrates "I had this dog since it was a puppy. It never leaves me alone. If I am in sorrow it understands that and consoles me. This is more than a family member to me. If this dog leaves me I don't dare to live". says an emotional owner.
