Motorists were seen to be busy filling up with fuel this lunchtime (March 9) at the Tesco petrol station in Sheerness, Kent as fuel prices continue to rise, putting further strain on household budgets.

The sign board for this supermarket - which usually offer lower prices compared to branded stations - showed a price of 153.9p per litre for unleaded and 156.9p per litre for diesel.

Fuel prices are predicted to continue to soar in the coming weeks due to supply chain issues affected by the war.
