Elderly couple bring ring to their grandson's wedding in heartwarming scene
An elderly couple in their eighties had the honour of bringing the wedding ring to their grandson at his wedding in eastern China on March 7.
Heartwarming video filmed in the city of Suqian in Jiangsu Province shows the elderly couple slowing walking to the bride and groom as they grip each other and approach the stage. The wedding ring is then passed to the groom.
According to the groom, Mr Zhao, his grandparents wanted to hand over the wedding ring to him to wish he and his bride to grow old together just like them.
Since Zhao did not tell his bride, Ms. Cai in advance, she said she felt very touched when seeing the elderly couple holding each other as they walked to the stage.
