The Atomik Nation artists collective have installed about 250 tiny music boxes all over Paris because they have been stopped from performing as musicians during the pandemic.

Video shot on Sunday 13 March showed one such music box. When its handle is turned it produces a distinct music box sound.

The tiny devices have been installed at different locations, including the Pantheon (in homage to Josephine Baker), Rue de Belleville, the Bobino Theatre (in homage to French singer George Brassens), and the home of the famous French singer Serge Gainsbourg.

The address of the music box in the video is Rue d'Alesia and the song it plays is 'Bancs Publics' (public benches) by Georges Brassens.
