A Thai vendor had been selling this delicious traditional-style crispy roti for 25 years.

Saree Man, 58, cooks the street food dish with a variety of sweet and savoury toppings in the same town in Ang Thong province, Thailand.

The vendor used to sell onions and garlic in Tak province but after learning a recipe from a restaurant, he turned to sell roti on his tricycle.

His stall called Raja Roti has customers queueing up wherever the tricycle is parked. He starts selling at 8 in the morning in front of Ang Thong Technical College before riding to the temple and market in the afternoon.

The Roti seller said: 'Many customers follow me because they like the food I cook. I guarantee the taste of my food after years of selling it.'

A satisfied customer said: 'Since covid started he changed the location where he sells. I remember buying from him when my daughter was only three and now she's 13.'

The original roti with no filling costs only 15 THB, with eggs 25 THB, with fillings 20 THB, with bananas 35 THB, and a circle roti 30 THB.

The Thai roti is one of the most popular snacks in the country and can also be eaten as a dessert. Stalls and carts selling the snack can be found in the streets mostly in highly-populated areas.
