Terrifying moment two police officers narrowly escaping a speeding car

Two police officers narrowly escaped a speeding car that almost ran over them. The incident took place in front of Carnival Infopark building in Kakkanad in state of Kerala and is dated March 13. Ironically, police officers V N Selvaraj and K P Vinu of Infopark station were assigned to collect the CCTV footage of an accident that happened here earlier in front of Carnival Infopark. Just as they exited the building they themselves were almost struck down by a speeding car which missed them narrowly and stopped after it collided with a wall.


There were three passengers in the car. Vivek, who was behind the wheels, escaped without any injuries.

Sreelesh (23) and Sreekuttan (25) were severely injured and one of them underwent an emergency

surgery. Officer Selvaraj sustained minor injury in the leg from a flying debris. Though shaken up by the incident, the police officers and A security officer of the Infopark helped the injured get out of the car and took them three to a nearby hospital. The incident also left many vehicles stationed in the parking area of the Carnival complex damaged. Police registered a case against the driver for overspeeding.
