Mercedes-Benz engulfed in flames as hired driver's scooter explodes in trunk
A Mercedes-Benz G-Class was burnt down in a huge fire as the hired driver's scooter exploded in its trunk in southern China.
CCTV footage filmed in the city of Huizhou in Guangdong Province on February 28 shows a huge fireball and smoke suddenly bursting out of the trunk of the vehicle.
A hired driver came out of the car and attempted to take his scooter out of the trunk. But the scooter suddenly exploded, causing the fire to engulf the whole car.
The driver was hired by the Mercedes-Benz's owner to help drive him to the destination as he was not able to drive himself.
The Mercedes-Benz was burnt down in the flames in only several minutes. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Police said they are investigating the case.
