Doctor resuscitates workers suffering from methane gas poisoning in China
A heroic doctor rescued three workers who had conducted methane gas poisoning from a drainage system in southern China.
Video filmed in the city of Chongqing on March 13 shows a 31-year-old doctor named Li Rong kneeling down on the ground to perform CPR on a worker who had methane gas poisoning.
Li said she heard people were talking about the methane gas poisoning and saw a worker was rescued by a nearby business owner when she walked past the area.
Since Li is a doctor at Chongqing Health Centre for Women and Children, she then kneeled down onto the ground to perform CPR and artificial respiration on the unconscious workers.
The rescue lasted for more than 10 minutes and Li said: "My arms could not lift up and they were still sore today. But I only did what a doctor should do."
The video was provided by local media with permission.
