Jerry Dyer caught the dramatic footage and shared the moment online, describing the situation as they watched the cargo plane skilfully land in the violent weather conditions.

Jerry, founder, presenter and producer of Big Jet TV, a live streaming platform specialising in Live Aviation content, said: "Easy! A Qatar Airways Boeing 747-8F A7-BGB lands in crosswinds on runway 27 at Schipol airport.

"A British Airways pilot recently told me the ‘procedures’ for landing the 747 in crosswinds.

"He said 'Land her in the crab and swing the tail on touchdown, otherwise you can get caught out of shape'."

The plane landed at Amsterdam Schiphol, on February 16th, during the treacherous Storm Dudley.
