A doctor in northern India's Uttar Pradesh snatched the life of a newborn from the jaws of death by performing a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the child.

The incident took place at the Etmadpur Community Health Center in Agra on March 7

Visuals showed the doctor initiating a mouth-to-mouth ventilation with periodic chest compressions. At times, the health practitioner also rubbed the child's back, trying to bring life back. Almost magically, after seven minutes of the same, the child lets out a cry, much to the relief. The doctor then inserts a pipe and rubs the back a few more times, while muttering the child to cry.

This miraculous procedure was performed by Dr. Surekha Chaudhary.

According to reports, a woman named Khusboo gave birth to a child, who neither let out a cry nor took a breath. Upon noticing it, Dr Chaudhary performed the CPR quickly. Fortunately, she was able to save the child.
