British-Iranian nationals Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe and Anoosheh Ashoori are back in the UK after being released from detention in Iran. Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe was detained in 2016 when she was visiting Iran with her daughter Gabriella. She was accused of plotting to overthrow the Iranian government. Nazanin worked as a project manager for the charity Thomson Reuters Foundation and was previously employed by BBC Media Action, an international development charity. The Daily Mirror headline 'After 6 years in hell … Home … for a nice cuppa' refers to Mr Ratcliffe as saying that, after six years away from home, the first thing his wife wants is a cup of tea.
