Buy video

The stunning 'Worm Moon' was seen rising behind the Kentish Flats wind farm from Sheerness beach in Kent, UK this evening (March 18).

Earth's celestial-neighbour rose with a beautiful orange hue.

March's full moon is known as the Worm Moon because as the weather warms at the end of winter, earthworms become more active in the soil and are occasionally seen above the surface at this time of year.
