Six passengers were injured when a bus overturned on a wet road following heavy rain in northeast Thailand in the early hours of Saturday morning March 19.

The coach was travelling from the capital Bangkok to Mukdahan when it lost skidded out of control amid tropical summers storms due to temperatures soaring past 30 degrees Celsius earlier in the day in Nakhon Ratchasima province.

Police received an emergency call at 2:10 am local time before arriving at the scene with paramedics who took the six injured passengers to the hospital. Fourteen other passengers along with the driver were unhurt.

Officers from the region's Non Sung Police Station began investigating the cause of the crash, which they believe was caused by the bad weather.
