This pool obtained footage shot from March 9 through March 12 shows infrastructure facilities in the northeast of Ukraine, in the strategically important small city of Okhtyrka, in the Sumy region.

A once-bustling city home to 48,000 residents, the city lies in shambles after 3 consecutive weeks of heavy shelling from the invading Russian forces.

More than half of Okhtyrka's population has fled, according to reports, and this harrowing footage shows why.

Homes, the train station, the town hall, shopping and cultural centers, all destroyed, with atomized masonry and splintered wood strewn along the emptied streets accompanying plumes of smoke.
