Two pedestrians dived out of the way of an oncoming bus that was being driven by a drunk driver in Rewari, Haryana.

CCTV footage from March 18 captured the moment two men escaped being hit by the vehicle by a matter of inches.

The bus hit two electric poles and came to a halt after colliding with a third.

According to the police, the bus was driven by a drunk man who had been assigned to clean the vehicle.

Two men talking on a roadside ran for their lives and escaped a bus that ran into them. CCTV footage shows the men hearing the screeching sound and running for their lives. Police said the out of control bus was driven by a drunk man who had been assigned to clean the bus but instead decided to go for a joy ride. After missing the two men, the bus hit two electric poles and came to a halt after hitting the third. According to police, due to a festival the traffic on road was sparse or the damage would have been immense. Incident is from Garhi Bolni road in Rewari city, Indian state of Haryana and is dated March 18. The bus belongs to the government owned Haryana Roadways
