Footage from March 21 shows the greater one-horned rhino sprinting after the car that quickly sped away.

This particular species of rhino can weigh between 1,800 and 2,700 kilograms.

This is the heartstopping moment a rhino chases a jeep full of passengers in northeastern India's Assam.

The incident took place at the Burapahar Range of Kaziranga National Park- known for housing the Great one horned rhino- on March 21.

Visuals showed the rhino chasing the vehicle. The chase continued for a few seconds before the pachyderm decided to stop it.

The driver was wise enough to keep driving at full speed, thus avoiding a confrontation.

The great one horned rhino can weigh between 4,000-6,000 pounds and can easily topple vehicles twice its size.
