A woman has gone viral on TikTok after revealing her six stone weight loss transformation.

Jasmine Bell, 20, a college athlete from Chicago, US, had been trying to lose weight for the past three years, trying a range of diets including fasting, counting calories, as well as diet pills.

Growing up, she received hurtful comments, with people saying “I would date you if you were skinnier”, as well as people calling her “fat” and “ugly”.

She began her weight loss journey, as she wanted better for herself and to be happy in her own skin again – focusing on eating a healthy diet and becoming more active.

Three years on, she Jasmine has lost 6st 4lbs and now weighs 12st 8lbs.

She uploaded a video of her journey to TikTok, as she wanted to inspire others who have struggled with their weight.

In a clip, which has received over 1.1 million views and over 251,500 likes, she shows the before and after transformation.

She begins by showing a clip of her before losing the weight, while lying in bed.

As the clip cuts, she reveals herself now, lying in the same position.

“Ain’t no way,” one viewer commented. [sic]

Another person said: “Who was the first person?”

“JAW DROPPED AND DISLOCATED [wow]” another user added.

Someone else said: “I know them boys were mad.”

“Ouuu I just know people in her messages saying ‘I always thought you were really cool’,” another viewer commented, to which Jasmine responded: “Facts.”

For Jasmine, it has been a complete change of lifestyle.

“I was very insecure about my weight and had no confidence in myself,” Jasmine told Jam Press.

“I was unhealthy – mentally and physically. My diet before consisted of a lot of junk food, such as fast food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I ate very big portions and wasn’t active at all.

“At the beginning of my journey, I focused on doing strictly cardio to help drop the weight faster.

“I incorporated weights, then got into basketball, which was a huge part of losing the weight.

“Once I started losing weight, my exercise consisted of high-intensity, full-body workouts, which were an hour long.

“Now, I eat home cooked meals, with a focus on portion control. I’ve cut down on carbs and eat cleaner, non-processed food, as well as more vegetables."

Jasmine is overwhelmed by the outpour of love and support on her video and believes she’s inspired many.

She added: “It made me feel like I made an impact on people struggling with losing weight.

“I wanted to show that it’s possible to achieve anything you put your mind to and provide guidance that felt helpful for losing weight.

“[My advice] is to take it one step at a time. You can start off by cutting off one thing, instead of everything [at once] and work your way up.

“Gradually incorporate exercise and portion control into your daily routine.

“I am happier in my skin now and my confidence has grown so much – I love the person I have become.”

Jasmine’s diet before losing weight:
Breakfast: 6 eggs ,4 slices of bacon, 3 pancakes, and hashbrowns.
Snack: Grilled Cheese and chips
Lunch: 2 packs of ramen and two hot dogs.
Dinner: 2 grilled cheese and more ramen.
Snacks: chips and cookies
She also drank lots of sugary drinks and no water.
