A burglar frightened a woman in northern China by rushing out the front door to escape.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Cangzhou in Hebei Province on March 23 shows a man with a cap and a mask walking into a flat.

After around five minutes, a woman who is the flat owner arrived home.

She put down her stuff and walked inside the flat. She was then scared by the alleged burglar who suddenly ran out of the room to escape.

The woman chased after him but did not catch him.

The property management employees were working with the police to get the CCTV footage. The police are dealing with the case.

3月23日，河北沧州泊头市水钢琴小区内，一名戴鸭舌帽和口罩的男子通过技术开锁入室盗窃，5分钟后女业主正好回家，刚挂好衣服，男子突然从屋内冲出，夺门而逃，女业主紧追未果。小区物业工作人员表示，已配合警方调取监控，警方正在处理此事，之后会加强巡逻。（视频由河北台提供）
