Firefighters catch escaped alligators at Chinese aquarium (longer version)
Firefighters caught two alligators earlier this week after they escaped from an aquarium in southwestern China.
Video filmed in the city of Zhaotong in Yunnan Province on March 23 showed firefighters capturing the fugitive reptiles.
According to reports, an employee in the aquarium forgot to turn off the water when filling it into a pool, allowing the two alligators to float to freedom.
After around 40 minutes, the two escaped alligators were both caught by the firemen.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
