Auto-rickshaw keeps spinning in circles after being hit by trailer in southern India
An autorickshaw spun in circles for several rounds after being hit by a speeding trailer truck in southern India's Kerala.
The incident took place at the Calicut bypass road in Palakkad district on March 9.
Visuals, caught on a CCTV camera, showed the autorickshaw moving forward when it got brushed by a speeding trailer truck. The driver got down from the vehicle to save himself, but the vehicle did a merry-go-round, moving in a circle. While the driver tried to stop the vehicle, he failed.
Seeing the man in distress, a young man runs towards the vehicle and manages to mount it and apply the brake.
During the process, the vehicle also destroyed a median on the road, as it hit it several times.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
