Mothers and anti-war demonstrators marched in New York City on Saturday (March 26) to protest the Russia-Ukraine war.

In Times Square, dozens of pairs of children's shoes and teddy bears were spread out to represent the young people who have been killed in the war.

The group held baby dolls covered in blood while one mother brought her 4-month-old child to the march.

The group held signs that compared Putin to Hitler and demanded that the world protect Ukrainian skies and protect the children of Ukraine.

The protest began around 1pm near the United Nations building in New York, arriving at Times Square around 2:30pm.

March 26 2022 - MANHATTAN, New York: Hundreds of protesters marched from UNESCO to Times Square in what they called the "Mothers March." In Times Square dozens of pairs of children's shoes and teddy bears were spread out to represent the children who have been killed in the war, and those whose futures have been taken from them.
