Car falls into river as road under it collapses in southern China
A car fell into a river as the road under it collapsed in southern China.
Video filmed in the city of Heyuan in Guangdong Province on March 26 shows a road suddenly collapsing, causing an SUV parked on it to fall into the river.
According to a nearby business owner, the continuous rain damaged the foundation of the road.
The water pipeline under the collapsed road were also damaged, causing the water supply to some nearby villagers to be cut off.
No one was injured. The car was taken out of the river and the owner is contacting the insurance company to settle claims.
Local government is investigating the case.
