An intense hailstorm pummelled parts of Vietnam on Sunday (March 27) damaging crops.

Footage captured in Dat Lat showed large hailstones falling and people gathering them in bowls.

According to local media, the hailstorm lasted for more than 30 minutes and hundreds of hectares of crops were destroyed.
