Video shot in northern Iceland captured the stunning Northern Lights on 26 March.

The footage was shot near the town of Dalvik, north of Akureyri.

It was very windy at the time with gusts around 80kmh (50mph) and was hard to find clear skies, with cloud cover in many places. But finally the lights became visible shortly after nightfall.

At the end of the video, someone seen in shot forms a heart with their hands, in reference to the stop lights at junctions in Akureyri, which are heart shaped.

It was filmed with an EOS R6 camera, a Sigma 20mm F1.4, and a Viltrox speed booster 0.71x.
And edited in 4:3 crop to minimise vignetting before being downsized from 4K to 1080p.
