Two tuskers were spotted walking across the forest cover in search of food in Sri Lanka's North Central province on March 19.

The incident took place in the Kalawewa National Park.

Visuals feature the tusker standing under a tree while munching on the leaves in broad daylight. Following this, it takes a stroll with another elephant before stopping to pluck the leaves of another tree.

The tuskers in the region are known for straying into the villages to put an end to their hunger. Due to this, the locals often shoot them to protect their fields, posing a threat to their lives.
