Police cordoned off two streets in Bristol, UK, after gunshots were reportedly heard on March 28.

Police were called to scene at 9:40 pm on March 28.

Footage from March 29 shows officers monitoring the cordons at Hareclive Road and Newland Road.

Two streets in south Bristol remain cordoned off this afternoon (March 29) after reports of a firearm being discharged last night.

Avon and Somerset Police said officers were deployed to Hareclive Road in Hartcliffe at 9.40pm. The police helicopter was also called to the scene along with armed officers.

In a statement, the force said those involved in the incident are reported to have fled the area immediately after the firearm was discharged and that it is currently unclear whether anyone has been injured
