Love Island winner left mortified after dress pops open at fashion show
A Love Island winner was left mortified after her dress popped open and exposed her boobs - while she was sat in the front row of a fashion show.Anna McEvoy, 29, was in a prime spot on the runway at Melbourne Fashion Week when she suffered an unexpected wardrobe malfunction. The podcaster and influencer sported a black one-sleeved mini-dress stitched together by a small piece of fabric at the bust for the event on March 11.But, to her horror, she felt the front of the dress loosen as she sat down - eventually popping open and exposing her to the whole audience. After a nifty bit of DIY thanks to the help of a kind stylist and podcast co-host Matt Zukowski, 26, Anna managed to find a way to keep her dress together using a belt. Now the Love Island Australia winner says she can see the funny side – although described the experience as “mortifying”. She said: “I kept saying, 'Matt, my dress is gonna snap!'. But he told me it'd be fine."Then suddenly everything just popped out. I went, 'oh f*** and just grabbed my chest and held."I could see more and more eyes turning to look at me - at one point I think more people were watching me than the runway!"Luckily there was a stylist close by who literally leapt over the seats to help - he gave me a belt from his own outfit."After the show I ran to a dressing room and pinned it together properly."Looking back I can laugh, because these things happen - but at the time I was mortified."I just hope if anything like this happens again, I'm not on the front row of a fashion show!
