This is the moment a delivery truck toppled over when its wheels exploded and came loose on a motorway in Thailand.

Dashcam footage shows the vehicle travelling steadily along the Kanchanaphisek Expressway in Bangkok before the accident on March 15.

The truck, stacked with food in the back, lost control after one of its rear wheels burst, sending it careening out of control before flipping over onto its side. Luckily, the incident did not cause a fatal collision and the driver climbed out of the car.

Onlooker Gap Thanapong said: 'Nobody would expect this to happen while they're driving behind another vehicle. I think the wheel burst when the driver accelerated.'

There were no injuries reported from the accident.
