Wedding guests sat under a leaking tent when a storm hit the ceremony in Cambodia.

The relatives and friends of the couple were left soaking when there was a heavy downpour in Battambang province on March 22.

Despite the rainwater leaking through, the guests continued to party at the reception with liquor to celebrate the couple's marriage.

Guest Chilo: 'Nobody was expecting the rain and the tent was of little help. The wedding still continued and it was more memorable because of the weather.'

The wet wedding came after the country's Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology issued a weather forecast of heavy rain.

Officials warned that Cambodia would be affected by the Indian low-pressure valleys over low-lying areas.
