This footage was filmed and produced 3 April 2022.

As the war continues into the second month, Ukrainians continue to shelter in the cities' many subway stations. Humanitarian Aid groups such as the World Central Kitchen continue to serve meals and essentials to many women, children, seniors and others. Trains are running between only some stations throughout the day. During this time, trains are reduced and stations use one side of the system. The tracks on the other side of each station provide daytime seating and placement at each station for the citizens during the daytime. This clears platforms for travelers. The system would normally carry over 3 million people per day. That number is reduced to as is the frequency of trains. Identification and security checks are done by police and soldiers of each person entering stations.
