Could this be the world's first rugby-based gender reveal?

A family from Belfast in Northern Ireland used their favourite sport on March 26 to reveal whether mom-to-be Ciara Tessaro was expecting a boy or a girl.

"We were having a gender reveal party for our first baby, who is due in July," Tessaro said.

"The original plan was to use smoke flares. However, the party was hijacked by my stepdad and it was followed by my brothers playing a rugby match to reveal the gender. No one was aware this was going to happen," she added.

After a bit of tackling each other on the lawn, the brother wearing entirely blue ran between the guests and presented his pregnant sister with the ball, confirming the new arrival will be a boy.

Surfacing from Belfast, Northern Ireland, this video shows two boys playing a small game of rugby ahead of revealing to everyone in attendance the gender of their sister's first child.
