A combination of rising Covid cases and flight cancellations have left many passengers stranded for hours in queues at major UK airports.
Frustrated travellers have taken to social media to share the conditions inside airports, including extensive delays at security, check-in and baggage reclaim,
Footage from Kirsty Law, a British Discus Champion, shows the huge queue for security at Heathrow Airport, London.
She said: “It actually wasn't too bad!
“It took about an hour, from joining the queue to getting my bag checked at security.
“I was expecting a couple of hours.”
Airline giants EasyJet and British Airways have cancelled upwards of 100 flights since the weekend.
