A combination of rising Covid cases and flight cancellations have left many passengers stranded for hours in queues at major UK airports.

Frustrated travellers have taken to social media to share the conditions inside airports, including extensive delays at security, check-in and baggage reclaim,

Footage filmed at Manchester Airports shows long queues for security.

Dan Brown who filmed the footage said: "Lane 8 at T2 security at #ManchesterAirport had been staffed by a security team doing nothing for at least 15 minutes.

"Hundreds of passengers queuing for over and hour to be processed through just two lanes (out of 10)."

Airline giants EasyJet and British Airways have cancelled upwards of 100 flights since the weekend.
