Four people were killed after an aluminium factory exploded in southern China.

Video filmed in the city of Qingyuan in Guangdong Province on April 3 shows debris flying into the sky and a plume of smoke rising up forming a huge mushroom cloud.

In another clip, the glass doors in a flat were shattered by the blast.

According to reports, an explosion happened in an aluminium factory after the molten aluminium leaked into the cooling pool.

Four people were killed and one suffered serious injuries.

The injured person was sent to hospital for treatment.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
