A cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from northern India's Jammu and Kashmir by a joint team of the Indian Army and the Special Operations Group (SOG).

The recovery was made from Noorkote village along Line of Control (LOC) in Poonch district on April 3.

Visuals showed the arms and ammunition at display. Several guns were Pakistani made, according to the tag.

The search operation was conducted based on specific intelligence inputs, reports said.

The operation was jointly carried out by the Poonch Brigade of White Knight Corps and SOG Poonch in Noorkote village.

Two AK-47 rifles, two AK-47 magazines, one 223 bore AK shape gun with handgrip, two magazines of 233 bore AK shape gun, one Chinese Pistol, one Chinese pistol magazine, 63 AK-47 rounds, twenty rounds of 223 bore AK Shape gun and four Chinese pistol rounds were recovered by the search party.
