Dog owner and nearby residents rescue golden retriever trapped in frozen lake
A pet owner and nearby residents rescued a golden retriever trapped in a frozen lake in northern China.
Video filmed in the city of Shenyang in Liaoning Province on April 2 shows a golden retriever trapped in a frozen lake and a resident moving forward on planks to try to approach the dog.
Since the surface of the frozen lake was too thin, the resident could not get close to the dog.
In another clip, the dog’s owner broke the ice to approach his pet in an inflatable boat.
After he grabbed his dog, a resident on the shore pulled the boat back.
The dog was rescued successfully and it was not injured.
According to reports, the golden retriever accidentally fell into the frozen lake as the ice surface suddenly broke when it was chasing a puppy on it.
