A Thai transgender woman making more than 10,000 USD a month through OnlyFans was arrested by cops for allegedly producing explicit videos with young men.

Jadsadakorn Somabut, 20, started making adult content videos four months ago when she could no longer afford to pay for college in a dormitory in Khon Kaen, Thailand, on April 5.

However, the university dropout's hugely-popular videos were found by police who tracked her down into a small room which she turned into a pink Hello Kitty and leather-themed studio.

The transgender woman, who uses the nickname Dreammie, has now been remanded in custody after being arrested on suspicion of cybercrime and producing explicit media for commercial purposes.

Police Colonel Pairote Thaipudsa said: 'She made explicit content videos with young men and posted snapshots on her social media accounts to invite people to pay to subscribe to her.

'She confessed during questioning that the pandemic had forced her into making those videos to earn money since she could not pay for school.'

Aside from her dorm room, Dreammie admitted that she also filmed videos in hotels and apartments in the Thai capital Bangkok.

In her four months of building hundreds of followers on the adult content platform, she generated more than 100,000 baht (2,976 USD) per month by charging a subscription fee of 234 baht (6.97 USD) through OnlyFans. She also had a private group promoted through Twitter with more than 1,000 people who paid a lifetime membership of 590 baht (17.57 USD), averaging around 4,390 USD a month.

Dreammie told police she also earned extra money from tips, one-off videos and from followers who paid to meet her - taking her total earnings to an estimate 10,000 USD a month.

Several advertisements of her payment rates in exchange for watching her perform sexual acts with young men were found by the cybercrime division of Thai police posted across Twitter which led them to identify her.

Dreammie's case will be tried in court where she faces a sentence of up to three years imprisonment and a fine of 60,000 baht if she if found guilty of selling her videos. If she is found guilty of uploading these videos online, she could face up to five years imprisonment and a fine of 100,000 baht.

Authorities are still investigating the case and were now searching for the young men who was seen with her in the videos.

OnlyFans is an internet content platform based in London where video creators can earn money from subscribing fans.

The controversial site faced a backlash when it tried to clean up its image by banning explicit material. They later performed a u-turn.

Issues have also arisen with users from hard-line and economically challenged countries such as Thailand and Indonesia where it is illegal to produce explicit content - but OnlyFans stills keeps its lucrative platform open to residents despite the risks they face by using it.
