A cool video has emerged of a pianist pulling off a swift recovery after his piano crashed to the ground during a performance at Glastonbury festival in the UK.

The footage, captured onstage during a set from swing band 'The Jive Aces' on Saturday, shows keyboardist Vince Hurley carrying on the performance after his energetic playing caused the instrument to fall to the ground.

Writing online about the video, the filmer said "Vince Hurley, energetic piano player for the UK's No.1 jive and swing band, The Jive Aces likes to pound the keys, literally. Unfortunately at this years Glastonbury festival on the Avalon stage, the piano wasn't up to the task, but that didn't stop the show!"

The band have achieved national fame by being the winners of BBC TV's Opportunity Knocks and Britain's Got Talent semi-finalists in 2012
