Volunteers and aid workers at the border are battling the cold and wind at the break of dawn to help Ukrainian refugees arriving in Poland.

From hot drinks and food to free sim cards and clothing, the refugees are often in dire need of help and assistance.

The footage filmed on April 8 shows tents, booths, and busses while aid workers are preparing for the arrival of refugees.

A trip that usually would take eight hours from Lviv in Ukraine to Warsaw in Poland, can currently take more than 16 hours as there are thousands of refugees trying to pass the border.
