American actor Aaron Eckhart appeared angry at himself after he botched a take by opening a car door onto a bollard.

The Hollywood actor is seen being filmed in Thessaloniki with co-star Nina Dobrev for their upcoming film "The Bricklayer".

The filmer told Newsflare: "The protagonist [Aaron Eckhart] is seen irritated inside a car while the driver door has been jammed on a bollard and he cannot get out to continue the shot. The production team tried to find a solution to open the door and save the shot but that was impossible.

"The unexpected event resulted in co-star Nina Dobrev who in the meantime had come out and was looking with embarrassment, to return back to the vehicle.

"They had to go backwards and start the shot all over again while a crowd of fans of the two actors were watching them impressed."
