Demonstrators harassed a student at Indonesia's university, a lecturer at the University of Indonesia

A lecturer at the University of Indonesia, Ade Armando, was beaten badly by the masses and was stripped of his pants during a demonstration at the DPR Building, Monday (11/4/2022). Blood was pouring from the face of the social media activist.

During the student demonstration of the All-Indonesian Student Executive Board, Monday (11/4/2022), Ade Armando was initially arguing with several unidentified demonstrators, then a number of people near the location immediately beat and ganged up on Ade.

Police officers who were securing the demonstration when they saw Ade Armando was battered, immediately evacuated him.

A number of people seemed still trying to chase Ade and a number of police. Not only Ade, a number of people were seen trying to fight the police who arrested Ade Armando. The crowd even threw stones and bottles of mineral water at the police.

The Indonesian Police admitted that the incident was carried out by a mass demonstration. Police are still investigating the abuse case.

Previously, Ade Armando even spoke to the media crew about his visit to the DPR Building to support the student action against Jokowi for three terms. Ade admitted that his presence at the demonstration site was only to support the demonstrators.
