Tourists attempted to stand upright on a church that is slowly sinking down a hill in Ropoto, Greece.

Drone footage shows the pair standing on the building's floor at an angle.

The town was abandoned in 2012 after a landslide forced 300 families to vacate the area.

Due to weakening foundations and steep surrounding inclines the church has been left at a 17-degree angle.

Ropoto was once a thriving village and home to 300 families, but a landslide in 2012 turned the village into a ghost town.

Today, forgotten by people and authorities, Ropoto’s terrain is still sinking, slowly moving the half-standing structures.

Flimsy foundations and steep inclines have been blamed for the disaster, which was first initiated by the village unable to push rainwater out to the surrounding stream.
